Welcome to this page where I will be showcasing the process of how I coded the Twyn Sticc Projecd.

Its a twin stick shooter where players are trying to escape a high-tech facility overrun by drones. The objective of the game is to find keycards and strategize to survive against overwhelming odds while fighting off waves of drones. The game features fast-paced action and intense gameplay as players navigate through the facility, collecting power-ups and weapons to help them in their fight for survival.

How I programmed the AI enemy

In my game, I implemented Unity’s built-in pathfinding system to create intelligent enemy AI. The enemies are able to navigate through the game environment, detect and chase the player, and even shoot at them. This added a new level of realism and challenge to the gameplay, as players must use strategy and skill to outsmart and defeat the advanced enemy AI.

How I programmed a level select

In my level select, I utilized Unity’s Cinemachine camera system to create a blend effect so players are looking at different planets. Cinemachine allowed me to have multiple camera angle and movements to show different planets. The blend effect created a more immersive and dynamic experience for the player, by smoothly transitioning from one planet to another planet. This helped players to feel like they are really exploring different worlds and made the game more visually appealing.
